Once upon some months ago a friend passed me a link.
A quick look at it and I shut the page down, sending a message: “Usual manga”.
Never been to interested in mangas( and only mildly with comics). Even less interesting, it was a yaoi. Marked seme, uke characters some how disturb me….
A few hours later, or possibly the next day, I got a message from the linkhunter friend : I’m crying my head off, take a look at the story: “ Winter Cicada”.
Took the new link and bumped in the wrong chapter, but: “hey, I can’t believe it! A real Japanes with strait black hair and slit eyes! And the drawings are great!!”
To cut a long story short , I went voraciously through 14 mangas.
14 yaoi mangas.
I still can’t believe it.
The characters are balanced and reversible, the two can play( good word for the story) both seme and uke according to the mood they’re in and there are no great physical differenced in their build.
Just one draw back: no way I’m ‘gonna sit down and read “Winter Cicada” I can’t bear the two stone dead!
I’m a fan of the love birds :Katou and Iwaki
As for Kusaka and Akizuki, they can rest in peace, hate such sad stores and ending up crying over fiction characters is quite embarrassing.
I liked the story to such an extent as to jump at the opportunity to have the original Japanese mangas sent over. I understand absolutely nothing of Japanese, but I read it all in English through a web site, though I was quite upset to discover the Japanese mangas had a story extra and more pages to a couple of episodes….tragedy! anyway I can still look at the drawings and make some sense , as for the extra pages, thank God, there’s no dialogue needed to know what’s going on…

Now, thanks to a couple of Japanese girls, fascination for certain yaoi and a mix of old classic Greek culture something is coming up( wrong words XD )….
