Incubo/Nightmare

Duke’s nightmare is the only part I can consider finished of my comic. I enjoyed doing these drawings, since the character is so difficult to handle, his thoughts always hidden and a step forward the events and consequences…. A look at his dreams can be easier in some way. He has lost Naida a little before the dream, and she is a projection of his fears, or possibly even a part of his tormented mind constantly living in an awkward balance between what he was and what he is… a crushing past with a totally destructive war, crushing life, hope self-esteem and a present where he is apparently gaining balance … yet at the moment he isn’t facing the storm as he should…

Grendizer returns

Cosa avessi realmente intenzione di sviluppare , al momento si è affievolito ma non perso, mi riservo di scrivere questo racconto... Le tavole non hanno dialogo , ma si capisce bene quello che succede, l'eroe non è tale per la sua gente ed il re non ha un trono o regno ...

War on Fleed - Guerra contro Fleed

Vega looking at the nebula, where Fleed and Altair are the heart of civilizations cooperating with each other.
He creeps in.
Learning their weaknesses.
And then strikes….

Vega che guarda la nebulosa, dove Fleed e Altair sono il cuore di civilizzazioni che cooperano le une con le altre.
Arriva in punta di piedi.
Imparando a conoscere le loro debolezze.
Poi attacca...

A massive attack is launched on Fleed. A peaceful and prosperous civilization is swept away.
With Fleed’s fall, many civilizations will suffer the same fate…

Un attacco massiccio è scatenato contro Fleed. una civiltà prospera e pacifica viene spazzata via.
Con la caduta di Fleed, molte civiltà seguiranno lo stesso destino...


Duke Fleed will be able to escape from Vega, with the only purpose to avoid Grendizer being mass produced by the tyrant and cause more destruction. Fleed was a peaceful planet, unprepared for war, but fleediand hadn’t forgotten how to fight.

Duke Fleed riuscirà a fuggire da Vega, con il solo scopo d'evitare che Grendizer venisse prodotto in massa dal tiranno causando altra distruzione. Fleed era un pianeta pacifico, impreparato alla guerra, ma i fleediani non avevano dimenticato come combattere.

Duke Fleed

I have done several portraits of Duke Fleed.
A fascinating character.
I believe every one has a favourite cartoon/anime character and sees unique traits …anyway I like Duke Fleed.
Most of all the possibilities he can give in anything I may decide to write.
But what I generally like doing, when I decide to write a story about him, is throw him in awkward social/political backgrounds. I find him ideal for stories with an Asimov’s set and an alien outlook.

Ho fatto diversi ritratti di Duke Fleed.
Un personaggio affascinante.
credo che tutti abbiano un personaggio di anime/cartone animato preferito e ne vedono tratti unici...comunque a me piace Duke Fleed.
Più che altro mi piacciono le possibilità che offre quando decido di scrivere.
Ma quello che generalmente mi piace fare,quando decido di scrivere di lui, è gettarlo in scenari politico/sociali problematici. Lo trovo ideale per racconti con uno sfondo alla Asimov ed uno sguardo alieno.

Soon he’ll be back on Italian tv, the news of his return swepped through internet and all the forums and sites gruping fans….
I loved him as a child, I love him now. And thanks to this character I’m spreading the range of people I know in the net, yet one of the most flabbergasting revelations was to discover Grendizer fans in Japan….but I’ll tell about such discovery another time....

Fra un pò torna sulla tv italiana, la notizia del suo ritorno ha attraversato la rete e tutti i forums e siti che accolgono i suoi fans...
L'ho amato quando era piccola, mi piace ancora oggi. Grazie a questo personaggio sto allargando il numero di persone che conosco in rete, però una delle scoperte che più mi ha fatto sbarellare è stato scoprire fan di Goldrake in Giappone...ma parlerò di questa scoperta un altra volta...
